We are delighted to stock (and grow in the vegie garden out the back of the store) Eden Seeds. The aim of Eden Seeds is to distribute Old Traditional Open pollinated varieties of vegetable seed, preferably old Australian varieties and organically or bio-dynamically grown where possible.

We believe they are more nutritious and better tasting, hardy and easier to grow for the home gardener. Old varieties produce over an extended period. Home gardeners obtain relaxation, enjoyment and quality from a most rewarding hobby.

Composting is a great way to take something that is a waste product and turn it into a nutrient rich organic material that is excellent for your garden. There are

Bokashi Bucket
The Bokashi Bucket uses a unique recycling system with bokashi to ferment food waste inside a sealed container. Becuse the system is sealed there is no problem with rodents or insects. There is also no odour. Place the food waste in a garden to break down into rich humus within a matter of days, releasing nutrients to the soil.

Unlike composting and worm farming, there is no food waste you cannot put in theBokashi Bucket system, which treats paper, citrus, onions, dairy, even meat! Because the system is small and compact it is ideal for people in units, or small homes with little room in the garden.

Worm Farms
