Featuring Rhassoul clay (widely known in the Arab world as Ghassoul clay) the Moroccan Mud Shampoo Bar is rich in trace minerals perfect for soothing scalps, while nourishing and taming dry, frizzy or curly hair.

Scented with orange and coriander seed oils, this shampoo bar is handcrafted using the finest conditioning ingredients (castor, olive and coconut oils, Leatherwood honey & beeswax, and of course Rhassoul clay), perfect for nourishing dry hair and defining curly and frizzy hair types.

Rhassoul clay is found beneath the Atlas mountains in Morocco in Northern Africa. This beautifully red, ochre-coloured clay has been used in beauty care for 1500 years to deep cleanse, condition and moisturise the hair and skin.

We love our oceans and waterways: our shampoo bars are 100% natural, zero waste and plastic free!

Who is it for?

This shampoo bar is suitable for all hair types – especially those with thick, unruly or frizzy hair, or for people who just want their hair smooth and tamed. Also suitable for people with dry, irritated scalps.

Ingredients: Coconut oil; Mount Wellington spring water (soap nut infused); olive pomace oil; castor oil; sunflower oil; Leatherwood beeswax; soy wax; Rhassoul mud; French red clay; Tasmanian seaweed extract; essential oils (Orange, Vertiver, Ylang ylang & Tagetes); Sodium borate (Borax) <1%; Leatherwood honey.

Shipping & Returns

We aim to ship your order within 2 to 3 working days from our Northcote store. We will let you know about any delays due to stock issues as quickly as we can, and endeavour to keep you informed through the process.

Most deliveries are sent through Australia Post, some are sent via courier services when necessary.

Shipping Costs

Some of our heavier or bulkier products attract an extra shipping cost that will be charged at checkout or we may need to call you to organise payment of a shipping surcharge after purchase. This is generally explained on the relevant product page. If you feel like a freight charge is too expensive or could be done cheaper through a courier etc, please call us and we will endeavour to organise an alternative with you.
