If you want LED lamps but don't like the frosted look then these could be the answer. They're made with strings of tiny LEDs to simulate the filament of the old style light globes, only much more efficient. They emit a nice warm light and look great in fittings where they're exposed. Available as a 'standard' light bulb that's roughly equivalent to an old 75W bulb or decorative candle or fancy round bulbs equivalent to an old 40W bulb, they are ideal for general use around the home.
