These are a replacement filter element for a wide range of ceramic benchtop style water filters. They remove 99.99% of bacteria from the water and can also help filter dirt and other pollutants that might discolour or affect the flavour of the water.
A 4 micron ceramic filter layer physically filters out dirt and bacteria, nano silver particles help kill the bacteria and activated charcoal helps absorb and neutralise odours and flavours.
