The Eco Max Dust Brush features natural coconut fibre bristles, which are biodegradable, naturally antibacterial, and chemical free. The durable natural plant bristles effectively sweep dust and dirt, won't ball and won't melt over hot coals - great for fireplaces!

Dust Brush components: Coco Fibre, a waste product from coconut husks, and Rubberwood, a waste product from rubber production. Pairs well with our Eco Max Dust Pan made from powder coated galvanized iron.

Dust Brush dimensions: 28cm brush length, 4cm brush width, 12cm cotton string

At end of life, the brush can be composted, leaving only the wooden handle behind for recycling.

Eco Max Brushes are vegan, biodegradable, and ethically made in Sri Lanka. The entire line is handmade using natural unbleached materials, like the Alistonia timber and sisal, or waste products like the coco fibre and rubberwood. Even the timber sealant is a non-toxic toy-grade sealer, safe for animals and children.

By switching to naturally-sourced and biodegradable products like Eco Max's, you can protect our valuable ecosystems by:

  • limiting the number of potentially harmful chemicals entering into local eco systems
  • reducing the amount of plastic entering into Australian waterways and our ocean
  • minimising pollution and chemical waste created during the production and treatment of synthetic materials
  • fighting the war on waste by limiting the volume of persistent materials being deposited into landfill

For more information on how to reduce your plastic use, work towards a zero waste lifestyle, and create a more efficient home, visit us in our Northcote store or search "War on Waste" (in quotation marks) on our website.

Shipping & Returns

We aim to ship your order within 2 to 3 working days from our Northcote store. We will let you know about any delays due to stock issues as quickly as we can, and endeavour to keep you informed through the process.

Most deliveries are sent through Australia Post, some are sent via courier services when necessary.

Shipping Costs

Some of our heavier or bulkier products attract an extra shipping cost that will be charged at checkout or we may need to call you to organise payment of a shipping surcharge after purchase. This is generally explained on the relevant product page. If you feel like a freight charge is too expensive or could be done cheaper through a courier etc, please call us and we will endeavour to organise an alternative with you.
