Fixed downlight - silver largeDo you have the larger can style downlight fittings that take a standard sized light bulb or CFL that looks like the images to the right? They were very popular in the 1970s and 80s before halogen downlights took over and many were retrofitted with a CFL in place of halogen downlights 5 - 10 years ago before LED halogen retrofits became viable and affordable. These LEDs are specially designed to work with these fittings, not just providing efficient light output but also solving the problem of the fitting allowing free air movement between your room and the ceiling cavity.

With a cleverly design adjustable neck length and available in two different wattages with large or small face sizes, these will fit straight into the vast majority of can downlights that have an Edison Screw (ES) base at the back. Simply remove the old bulb, extend the neck of the CONVERT LED bulb, screw it into the fitting and then gently push it upwards until it is sitting flush against the ceiling. It will cover the fascia of your fitting giving a neat appearance and a fresh look to tired fittings.

The smaller lamp is 130mm across the front and has 10W of LEDs producing 670lm, while the larger lamp is 156mm across the front and has 15W of LEDs producing 1055 lumens of light.

Shipping Costs

Some of our heavier or bulkier products attract an extra shipping cost that will be charged at checkout or we may need to call you to organise payment of a shipping surcharge after purchase. This is generally explained on the relevant product page. If you feel like a freight charge is too expensive or could be done cheaper through a courier etc, please call us and we will endeavour to organise an alternative with you.
